American legislation still gets written and voted on by humans. And votes depend on representing constituents. And the only way they represent you is if your voice as a constituent is heard.
I’ve lived in Berkeley and marched with signs and attended protests and contributed to campaigns. I’ve also written a lot of letters. Influential? Hard to say.
