Hi Rev. Sheri. I was thinking about this prior to reading your article today. The average person spends A LOT of life at work. We have work families - with all of the drama of human interaction, but also - all of the SUPPORT. I have celebrated birthdays, enjoyed happy hour, eaten lunch, chatted at the water cooler, contributed to the coffee fund or to the retirement gift of many coworkers. So much of the social aspect of being at work has been removed, like baby showers and staff meetings! Regardless of how you feel about these norms, the culture of our workplace has become...zoomed out to a digital view that is certainly less human. Where to go from here...?
